Separating materials in Science

We have been investigating how to separate different materials including sieving, filtering and evaporation.  We managed to separate salt that has dissolved into water by evaporating the water.  What great scientists!

St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival

Well done to our worship leaders for making some beautiful tree decorations for our school tree at St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival. Many thanks as always to Mrs Haywood for her time and creativity and to Mrs Nichols for organising us. Digital Art

In Year 6, we have been completing a unit of work on digital photography. We were able to take advantage of some excellent lighting earlier in the week to produce some interesting pictures.
