In the summer term, prior to your child starting school with us, you will be invited to an information sharing evening with the reception staff and school leaders. During this evening, you will learn all about daily life in reception. You will also be invited to sign up for a ‘Stay and Play’ session with your child, before the school breaks up for the summer. This will enable you and your child to get to know both indoor and outdoor learning areas, together. We are always keen to ensure a smooth transition into school for our youngest learners, with parents being able to stay with their children to ensure that they are settled, on their first day in the Autumn term. However, we are keen for children to get to know their routines quickly and are keen for children to stay for the full school day, as quickly as possible.
