Safeside trip

Years 5 and 6 visited Safeside, which is a full-sized indoor safety village. They were taught about the fire service, life skills, personal safety, road and car safety and staying safe in the home.

Year 5 Easter Experience

Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their ‘Easter Experience’ at Church of the Ascension. They participated in different activities based on the Easter story.

We made palm leaves with welcome messages on the back.

We discussed the importance of bread and wine at The Last Supper.

We wrote sorry prayers and thank you prayers.

3D modelling in computing

In 5CS, we have been using a 2Design and Make tool to design a building thinking carefully about how to use the repeating pattern fill tool to create brick and tile effects. We explored our design in 3D and also as a net.
