School Lottery

Did you know we have a school lottery?

Set up by our H.S.A, it raises valuable funds for the school but also provides you with an opportunity to win some money!

We would love for as many parents, carers, grandparents, neighbours, friends (just about everyone you know!) to buy a ticket and take part!

The draw takes place weekly and there is also entry into a Superdraw to win a bigger prize!

Please see the information below which explains how it works and follow the link to get your ticket!

Recycling Legislation

Tuesday 1st April 2025
Dear Family
Re. Simpler Recycling Legislation
From next week there is a change in legislation which means that organisations such as school are required to sort more of their waste for recycling. Whilst I am sure that we all applaud this move, it coincides with Dudley Council, who used to collect our bins, withdrawing this service for schools and a delay before our new provider can begin.
As from the beginning of April, the school will need to have a number of bins for specific waste.

This is going to mean a change for pupils, staff and visitors. We have been advised that if bins are contaminated with the wrong waste, they may not be collected and if this is repeated, the school may be liable to a fine.
As a school, we have a lot to do to ensure that we are all fully educated about these changes. The children will be spoken to in lessons and in assemblies and posters will be displayed around school.
Due to the changes in our approaches to managing waste in school, from next week, all children bringing a lunchbox into school are required to bring their rubbish home, rather than being able to dispose of it in school.
We would welcome your support by talking to your child about these changes.
Yours sincerely
Mrs L Mason

Remembrance Plaque

We were very pleased to be visited by Mr Glattback from Summerhill School who presented us with a blue plaque from the Wall Heath and Kingswinford War Memorial Group. We are very proud to display the plaque in remembrance of a former pupil of our school who gave his life for his country. You can see it displayed by the main entrance.
