We were lucky enough to welcome a British Gymnastics coach to our PE lesson Thursday afternoon. The children had lots of fun learning the ski, pencil and toilet positions before taking part in a carousel of activities involving balancing, travelling and jumping from apparatus.

The children listened brilliantly, tried their best and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session. We are especially excited that our coach will be working with us throughout the whole half term!

A huge thank you to our visiting coach for such a fun and engaging afternoon. We can’t wait for next week’s session! 😊👏

We have been delighted to welcome our Year 1 and Year 2 children back to school this week. It has been a wonderful start to the new academic year, and we have been incredibly impressed with how quickly the children have settled into their new classes and routines.

The children have worked hard to follow our school rules by being ready and responsible to learn, using kind and respectful words, and showing kind hands and feet throughout the school day. They have demonstrated excellent behaviour, positive attitudes, and a real enthusiasm for learning.

We would like to thank parents and carers for your continued support in helping your children make such a successful start.

The Year 1 and Year 2 Team

The children worked in table groups to sort different behaviours, deciding whether they followed The Golden Rule – treat others as you would like to be treated – or not. This prompted thoughtful discussions about kindness, respect and making positive choices.

We were impressed by the children’s ideas and their ability to explain their thinking.
