Parking Around School

Could we please remind parents to be considerate when parking around school at drop off and pick up times. Please also be careful not to go onto pavements, the footpath is very narrow around the school gates on New Street and we need to ensure all our children are kept safe when arriving at and leaving school.

We appreciate your support.

School Photographer

The photographer will be in school on Tuesday 16th September to take individual and sibling photographs.

Class 4C – as children will be going swimming at 9am, if possible, can they arrive at school at 8:30am to have their photograph taken before they go. There will be an opportunity for them to have a photograph when they return from swimming if they are unable to make it into school for 8:30am. Any children in 4C who have a sibling in school, can they also come in for their sibling photograph.

Class 1C – can children please come to school dressed in their school uniform and bring their Forest School clothes with them to change into after their photograph has been taken.

If children have younger siblings at nursery/pre-school and they would like a photograph taken with them, please come to the hall at 8:30 and we will fit you in when we can.

Thank you for your support.

Inflatables

Thursday 4th September 2025
Dear Family
Re. Inflatable Assault Course
Over the last couple of days, we have been talking to the children about how this year will be a year of reaching our full potential. We have coined the phrase “Aspire for Higher” to encourage us all to be ambitious and aspirational. All classes have shared a wonderful picture book called “The Dot” and learning and activities will be linked to this text over the coming weeks. As a conclusion to our focus weeks, we have hired an inflatable assault course, for Thursday 11th and Friday 12th September. Each class will have an allocated slot and will be fully supervised and supported, at all times. We would love for all of our children to take part in this activity and have a lot of fun in the process. They will change into their PE kits and will not need any additional clothing or equipment. If you have any concerns or do not wish for your child to participate, please contact the school office and the relevant member of staff will get back to you. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you are happy for your child to participate.
Yours sincerely
Lindsay Mason

Anyone lost a hoodie?

OSCAR club have a Saltash blue hoodie age 13 years that was left behind at holiday club in the summer. If this belongs to your child, please see Jacqui at Before and After School Club.

Waterproof Clothes

If anyone has any all-in-one type waterproof clothes suitable for outdoor play that they no longer need, our Reception staff would love any donations for the children to use when playing with the mud kitchen. If you able to help, please send them into school.
