Year 1 and Year 2 children took part in an exciting gymnastics lesson this week led by Josh, a gymnastics coach from our local area. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and were keen to take part in all the activities.
During the lesson, the children used a range of gymnastics equipment to practise and develop different body shapes and jumps. They worked carefully to balance, stretch, and move with control, building both their confidence and coordination. Josh and the class teachers supported and encouraged the children throughout, helping them to improve their technique while having fun.
It was wonderful to see the children engaging so positively, showing great enthusiasm and effort as they developed their gymnastics skills. We look forward to building on these skills in future lessons.
