School Eucharist

Father Chris will be leading our School Eucharist at 9:00am on Tuesday 3rd March. Members of our school community who wish to take communion are very welcome to join us.

Pop Up Church

Today Kirsty from iSingPop has been in school working with the children and teaching them two iSingPop songs.
We would love to invite you to our iSingPop Worship. Especially if your child would like to learn some more iSingPop songs we would love them to come and join us.
We meet at 10am-11.15am in the church centre. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay with their child. At 11.15am we will all gather for refreshments and then move into church for our service. The event will end by 12pm.

OSCAR Holiday Club

We will again be running the OSCAR holiday club during Easter for the first four days of the holiday 30th March to 2nd April.

The holiday club provides a variety of activities for the children each day and is open from 7:45am – 5:30pm.

There will be no snack provided for the morning, but you are welcome to send in a healthy snack from home if you would like to. Just a reminder that we are a nut-free school so please no products that contain nuts, including spreads such as Nutella.

It costs £23 for the full day and is only open to children who currently attend our school.

Wellbeing Buddies

Our wellbeing buddies have had their final meeting of the year and have decided on a new focus for the next term which is ‘giving’.  We reflected on our successes from this term and have made some great suggestions for next term.  Well done, Buddies!
Also in the new term, our wellbeing buddies will be working with our new educational mental health practitioner, Hayley, for some training in their important role.  We will introduce Hayley officially to all children and parents in the new term – exciting times!

Don’t forget –  our kitchen will be providing a festive menu for the whole week commencing Monday 8th December. This will include our traditional Christmas dinner on Wednesday 10th December.

Back by popular demand!

The 2026 School Calendar is now on sale! Featuring fabulous self portraits by the children in each class and even a Rogues Gallery of teachers drawn by children too!

At just £5 each these will be on everyone’s Christmas list so get yours now! Available from the school office or please send the money in a named envelope with your child.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone!!

Black Country Foodbank

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Harvest collection for the Black Country Foodbank this year.

Your generosity meant we donated 140kgs of food and 23.6kgs of toiletries, enough to provide 240 meals and 24 toiletry packs.

Thank you for supporting this worthy cause and helping people in the community.

St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival

Well done to our worship leaders for making some beautiful tree decorations for our school tree at St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival. Many thanks as always to Mrs Haywood for her time and creativity and to Mrs Nichols for organising us. Take a look at our tree and many others from local organisations on 29th November 10am – 3pm and 30th November 11:30 – 3pm.

Book Fair

Come and visit our book fair in the spare classroom straight after school on Friday 21st November and Monday 24th – Wednesday 26th November.

Please access through the Jubilee Library door on the Key Stage 1 playground. Payments can only be made by card, we are unable to accept cash unfortunately.

The school will receive commission on any books sold and this will be used to purchase more books for the school libraries.

Santa’s Grotto at the Christmas Fayre

SANTA’S GROTTO AT THE CHRISTMAS FAYRE
FRIDAY 5TH DECEMBER 5-7PM

We hope you will be joining us for our Christmas Fayre this year. If your child/ren would like to visit Santa, tickets will need to be pre-booked. Please see the information below which explains how to book and what to expect.

There you will be able to select which time slot you would like starting from 5pm, every 10 minutes until 6.50pm.
Each time slot has 15 tickets available. Only children require tickets. The time you select is the time you should be at the Grotto entrance by the Key Stage 1 library.

In groups of up to 15 children, they will be taken in to meet our cheery elves and make reindeer food before going to meet Santa and Mrs Claus. Mrs Claus will then tell them a festive story and they will be given their small gifts.

Please note if you choose the 5pm slot then we advise that you arrive slightly earlier than the fayre start time and let them know on the entrance you are here so we can start everything on time.

We are so excited to bring back our grotto and hope the children will enjoy it too!
