Fiona had a very special day in Forest School as we got ready to celebrate Fathers Day this Sunday! The children got creative decorating beautiful wood cookie badges and keyrings – each one made with love and ready to gift.
It was also a day of discovery – we went on a mission to find minibeasts! The children were fascinated by the tiny creatures they found, carefully collecting and then releasing them back in their habitats.
Of course, no Forest School Day would be complete without some messy fun – the mud kitchen and mud pit were very popular today! Mud pies, potions, and lots of muddy fun!
We also had den building, sang our Forest School song, and played lots of rounds of Sneaky Bob!
A magical day of nature, creativity, and play.
