Fiona kicked off our second block of Forest School for year 1, and it was all about bees!
We started the session by learning some fascinating facts about our buzzing friends, then got creative making our very own bees using pine cones and yarn – they looked amazing.
The mud kitchen was in full swing with lots of cooking, and a group of diggers even created a brand new pond in the mud pit!
At snack time, we gathered to enjoy Nature’s Tiny Miracle: Bee, a beautiful story about the important roles bees play in our world, all while sipping hot chocolate and munching on our snacks.
We wrapped up the day with a brand-new game: Show Bingo! Lots of giggles and teamwork went into matching the shoes – a hilarious and fun way to end our bee-autiful day!
