Captain Sir Tom Moore: 'National inspiration' dies with Covid-19 - BBC News

We were all inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore last year, and all felt upset when he died earlier in the year. If he was still alive, he would have been 101 on Friday, 30th April, and to mark that date Sir Tom’s family are encouraging as many people as possible to ‘challenge 100’.

At school, we have enlisted our house captains to come up with our own House 100 Challenge. Everyone will be encouraged to take part in a simple challenge, aimed to generate a bit of fun, but also for us to remember the remarkable efforts of Captain Sir Tom. We are not raising funds directly at school, but if individual families feel they would like to support the overall Captain Sir Tom campaign, details of the official Just Giving page are below.
