Have a look at what our children have been doing in school recently:-
World Book Day 2018
We found Wally!! – well Mrs.Walley anyway! The children had to solve a puzzle to find out where Mrs. Walley was and then she set them a House Challenge!
Whole School Christmas Writing Project
The Great Fire of London
Children in Year 1 & 2 enjoyed a ‘fabulous finish’ to their Fire & Ice topic by recreating The Great Fire of London which started in Pudding Lane.
A big thank you for your generous donations to our Harvest celebrations this year. Some of our parents put together a fabulous display in the library of the goods collected and our House Captains helped to load the crates for the donations to go to the Black Country Foodbank.
Active Kids Vouchers
We used some of the Active Kids vouchers that you collected for us this year to purchase some new scooters for Reception to use.
Year 2 planted beans in the Spring term and have been watching them grow! In September they were picked and given to Lynn who cooked them for the children to enjoy with their lunch!
Our Peace Garden is an area for quiet contemplation and was recently opened and blessed by Reverend Giles as part of our Ascension Day celebrations.
‘Go the Eggstra Mile’ Challenge
The children had a great time seeing whose invention would travel the furthest.
